The anatomy of a node

Every node is assembled from smaller nodes — N2: nodes, made of nodes. Click a port to see what contributes it. Click the node to select it, double-click to open its config panel, and take the inside apart too.

A workflow declares a Node Contract, and becomes a node. Everything the node shows the outside world — its ports, its fields, its secrets, its buttons — is contributed by a small node in the workflow behind it. Assembled, it is indistinguishable from any other node on the canvas. That is the point of N2.
